What is Project MAP?

Project MAP is an InclusiveSWEF Women Mentor, Advisor and Peer groups” tailored-made program designed for our women who are victims or saviours of Domestic abuse. MAP Project offers guidance on how to empower women in the workplace, marketplace, and community.

The program will help women recognize what constitutes abusive behaviors and help them gain self-esteem and confidence to improve their lives.

The Project MAP mission

“To inspire and enrich women’s lives and experience and to empower them to reach their full potential in health, wellbeing, education, learning and social inclusion.”

To achieve our mission, we:

• Provide a safe and comfortable environment to discuss, share and participate in the issues and challenges they face in everyday life.

• Improve knowledge, Information advice and signposting to help them make informed choices about their health and wellbeing.

• Develop a programme of activities to help them stay active and prevent illness and disease.

• Develop training opportunities to build skills and strengthen confidence.

The Project MAP Vision

• Engage more women in community activities.

• Encourage women to have a voice and have fresh and varied thinking and perspective.

• Enable women to find their inner confidence.

• Encourage Vocational Education

• Empower women to start their journey by nurturing their ideas and goals.

To certify victims or saviours to be successful as entrepreneurs focusing on entrepreneurship and access to capital, markets, and networks.

To empower victims or saviours to prosper in the Workforce with a focus on workforce development, vocational education, and skills training.

The group session runs every 3rd Saturday of the month.
